Motion Graphics and UI Design Reel - 2016
Motion Graphics and UI Design Reel - 2016
Shown here is a now old reel that gives a quick run-down of my motion graphics and interactive design work prior to joining Arktura. It includes flashes of my earlier work for Entertainment clients. I’ve only included work I designed and animated, but I have been involved in countless more projects as a creative collaborator, serving in a number of capacities.

Years before going back to school for my MBA, in the summer before my final year at UCLA, I began my professional career in marketing and brand as a designer and motion graphics artist serving Entertainment clients, including 20th Century Fox (now, Studios), Warner Bros., Universal, Sony Pictures, and Disney. It was right around the time the format war between HD-DVD and Bluray was under way, with Bluray eventually winning out, only to be supplanted by streaming. This provided me with an early lesson in the ever-evolving nature of technology and content delivery, and in the importance of knowing how to build creative solutions around the strengths and weaknesses of different platforms and interfaces.

Beyond my work in Entertainment, this reel shows a mix of projects, with a sprinkling of videography, mostly executed in After Effects, with a mix of other tools, including Premiere, Final Cut, and Cinema 4D. Have any questions? Feel free to drop me a line. While my roles have taking me more to marketing and brand management, I have continued to be hands on with creative teams, and still like to geek out on all aspects of motion graphics, VFX, videography, and 3D.
